It is the goal of the health office to promote the health of each student, which enhances optimal learning. Remember to get a good night's sleep and to eat breakfast every day.
In order to provide the best care to the student, it is important for the health office to have current health and contact information. Please keep us updated as things change. Please complete the student's health authorization form, including  the health history, current medications, and accurate phone numbers.

Health Screenings:
Vision and Hearing screenings are performed on all new students to the school district, in accordance with New Mexico guidelines. Additionally, students who show signs of vision or hearing difficulty may be screened to rule out a problem. If a problem exists, you will be notified and referred for further evaluation. Screenings may also be done at your request.

Medications at School:
All medicine at school is given through the health office.  See the links for the forms that must be completed and on file in our office. Some emergency medication may be carried by the student with proper forms completed.

Immunizations: Please refer to the link for requirements.

Attendance Policy for Illness:
Please do not send the student to school if they have had a fever (100 degrees or greater) or vomiting within the previous twenty four hours. Students with fever or vomiting will be sent home from school.
